Andy Carroll has always had the ability to be one of the best strikers in England but his fitness has let him down at vital periods in his career.
Slaven Bilic stated last week that Carroll has the potential to hit the next level for the Irons as long as he remains fit:
“If he stays away from injuries then he has a great chance to have a great season.”
Now, with the new Premier League season fast approaching, it is the perfect opportunity for the big number nine to finally hit the ground running and enjoy a successful season.
All Hammers fans recognise Carroll’s ability but he has never had the opportunity to fully show what he is capable of on a consistent basis.
In a way, his injuries are a testament to his ability as he has shown that he can come back from some serious knock backs before producing quality displays once again.
