West Ham United have again been linked with a move for Leicester City sensation Jamie Vardy, with The Mirror stating that the Hammers will turn to the Englishman after having a bid for Alexandre Lacazette rejected.

A new striker that can score 20+ goals next season is the priority for Slaven Bilic’s men, with a host of star names being linked with a move to the London club.

Lacazette is believed to be West Ham’s number one target but Lyon are reluctant to part company with the France international.

As such the Hammers are said to be looking to find alternatives and could make an ambitious move to sign Vardy.

The former non-league centre forward has had an amazing year with the Foxes, firing the King Power Stadium outfit to the Premier League title in incredible circumstances.

Vardy is said to have a £25 million release clause in his current deal with Claudio Ranieri’s men but whether he would move to West Ham remains to be seen.
