Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew has reportedly held discussions with both West Ham United and Crystal Palace over a potential summer transfer, Ghana Web report.

The Villains were relegated without much of a fight in 2015-16, with the African attacker one of the very few players that covered themselves in any sort of glory.

Ayew and a host of other players from the Midlands club are expected to leave in a mass exodus and the Ghana international has been touted as a potential target for West Ham.

The report suggests that the player’s agent has already sounded out the Hammers and their London rivals Palace about a potential summer move south.

Ayew is not the big name that Hammers fans will hope to join the club this summer, but with the futures of both Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia up in the air, the Villa forward could be an able and affordable replacement.
