Squad Unity
This is what it could all come down to. Leicester City have shown what a team can do with a bit of belief and team spirit so there’s no reason why West Ham cannot do the same.
Manchester United have looked shaky all season and there is still a cloud of doubt hovering over Louis Van Gaal at Old Trafford. The team has struggled to produce good performances on a consistent basis and there doesn’t seem to be the same togetherness amongst the United players that is evident in West Ham’s squad. The same thing applies to Manchester City. With Pellegrini leaving at the end of the season, it isn’t the best environment for the team to stick together and grind out results.
The Hammers have shown squad unity in abundance this season. The team have rescued points from losing positions many times and it genuinely looks as if the players are relishing playing under Bilic. There have been a number of fantastic results and it is only going to increase the squad’s belief.
