After what seems like an eternity, West Ham are back in Premier League action this weekend and there is still a lot to play for.
BBC pundits John Hartson, Jermaine Jenas, Pat Nevin and Chris Sutton have all predicted West Ham to pip the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United to a top four finish this season.
Although it may seem like West Ham’s chances of reaching the Champions League are relatively slim, the team has shown no signs of slowing down in recent weeks. With just eight games remaining, the Hammers are just a point off City in fourth place and five adrift of Arsenal in third.
If West Ham can continue to get results and avoid defeats, the impossible dream may just become a reality. The Hammers will need a bit of luck to go their own way but there are other factors that put Bilic’s side in a healthy position at this stage of the season.
