Four first team players could be a doubt for Crystal Palace’s trip to the Boleyn Ground this weekend.
The likes of Yohan Cabaye, Mile Jedinak, Emmanuel Adebayor and Connor Wickham are all doubts for Crystal Palace’s clash with West Ham this Saturday.
Cabaye and Jedinak will have late fitness tests after they picked up injuries whilst on international duty. Adebayor is also struggling with a knock and Wickham’s thigh injury means he will not be fit in time to face the Hammers.
Cabaye has been one of Palace’s stand out performers this season whilst the injuries to Wickham and Adebayor will do little to help Pardew’s problems in the final third.
The picture looks a lot better from West Ham’s perspective as Slaven Bilic updated the press with the latest injury news ahead of Saturday’s match:
“James Tomkins is back, and the only players who are out are James Collins and Sam Byram. They are progressing really well, but they won’t be in the frame for the Palace game. Some players are still flying back tomorrow, like Victor Moses, but Payet is back from France. It’s not ideal, but we want to immediately get back into the shape that we were in before the break.”
