What a fantastic week it has been, 9 points from 3 games including a victory against fierce rivals Tottenham and a fantastic comeback against Everton.
I was very worried when Lukaku scored that our abysmal record against the Toffees was set to continue, we seem to be starting games slow and we need to improve that as we approach the end of the season.
There were many positives throughout the games but one particular reason for optimism was the return of Diafra Sakho. The Senegalese international came on just after the hour mark and was crucial in our comeback, scoring the equalising goal in the 81st minute.
With Sakho returning as well as Carroll and Emenike being fit, we now have a good variety of forwards available.
I believe that Bilic will soon be selecting Sakho in attack as he has much more to his came than our other options.
Emenike is a player who enjoys getting in behind the defence, feeding off through balls to put himself one on one with the keeper, epitomised by his performance against Blackburn in the FA Cup tie last month.
Obviously, we all know what style of play suits Andy Carroll, long balls and direct play with early crosses is how we get the best out of the big man!
Sakho has the ability to play either system with his pace as well as his physical prowess and it is important to have a striker who has the ability to adapt to different styles of play within a match as we need to be able to quickly change systems if we are struggling.
Sakho has been really unfortunate with injuries but now he is back I hope he can push on.
Our next game is Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter final and playing a strong team could see us book a place in a Wembley Semi Final.
The Manchester United injury list is very significant and so I see no reason for us not being able to at the very least get a draw and bring them back to the Boleyn Ground.
My team to play Manchester United:
