And there we were getting our hopes up.
Mark Noble has been overlooked for England once again and this time it looks as if the Hammers have had enough.
With the likes of James Milner, Theo Walcott and Adam Lallana getting into the squad, fans are right to feel aggrieved when Mark Noble has to face rejection once again. The fact that Hodgson has opted for these players suggests there is a tendency to stick to the safe option and that has angered Hammers fans.
The news hit particularly hard as many were convinced that Noble’s time had finally come, especially due to the fact that the upcoming friendlies against Germany and the Netherlands are the perfect opportunity to change things up a little.
It now looks as if Noble’s chances of getting into the England squad for the Euros is unlikely. Although it is hard to accept, Noble may have to wait for a change in management in order to finally get his England chance.
