This afternoon’s FA Cup fixture against Manchester United is probably the biggest game of West Ham’s season.
Just as the Red Devils looked like they were gathering some momentum, their 2-0 defeat at the hands of fierce rivals Liverpool in the Europa League has done them no favours whatsoever.
Although the game is at Old Trafford, the Hammers will fancy their chances against United due to the run of results West Ham have put together recently.
Despite Manchester United’s rather sluggish displays this season, they still offer a great threat to the Hammers and their recent implementation of hungry youth players carries an element of unpredictability, especially with the likes of Marcus Rashford in attack.
Louis Van Gaal’s side should not be underestimated as there is still a lot of quality individuals that are capable of hurting West Ham. With that in mind, we’ve drawn up a combined eleven (4-3-3 formation) of players from both teams.
