5 positives to take from the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford

A 1-1 draw at Old Trafford is never a bad result. We haven’t got the best record away to United, so to take them back to The Boleyn Ground should be hailed as a decent result, and a match that Manchester United won’t want with their current fixture congestion playing in the Europa League.

We can count ourselves unlucky though, going ahead through Payet’s stunning goal but not holding on. This was mainly due to Martin Atkinson and the linesman who somehow failed to see a clear foul on Darren Randolph seconds before Martial got the equaliser. There is a strong chance that Randolph would have got across to save the goal if he wasn’t obstructed by Schweinsteiger, and they weren’t causing us too many problems at the time.
