5 reasons why a move for this world-class talent makes sense for West Ham

|

He’s still in good form

Yes he’s playing in the French league, but you cannot argue with 23 goals in 22 appearances. His almost evergreen talent does not seem to be fading, you could argue that the striker is as good now as he was three or four years ago.

Ibrahimovic does not rely on pace and it seems as if the striker has kept himself in excellent condition despite him being the wrong side of thirty. He has been playing in France for four seasons and his highest tally of 30 goals in the 2012/13 season could be beaten this time round.

He may be ageing but his goalscoring exploits show no sign of slowing down. The Hammers shouldn’t be put off signing someone because of their age, just look at what Dimitri Payet has done so far.
