Emmanuel Emenike believes the Hammers can go all the way in the FA Cup after their brilliant victory over Blackburn Rovers.

The striker took both of his goals well, with his second illustrating the coolness and quality that only top forwards possess.

With Diafra Sakho returning and Emenike now adjusting to life at West Ham, it will be interesting to see how Bilic accommodates his strikers over the next few weeks.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Emenike outlined his delight at grabbing a brace in the tie:

“I think we are good enough to go all the way. We work hard for each other and we have good players.

“I just want to say a big thank you to the fans for their support.

“Last week was a tough week for me, because I missed a chance to give us three points, but thankfully I made up for it on Sunday and made the fans happy.”

Fans will be encouraged by Emenike’s words as he is clearly determined to succeed. The fact that he capped his first start at the club with a brace will certainly send out a message to Slaven Bilic, who may opt to play him from the start again against Sunderland this weekend.

Hammers fans will remember the partnership Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia developed last season and there is no reason why Sakho and Emenike could not do the same.

It is still early days for Emenike but if he gets off the mark and performs well in the Premier League, West Ham could have another gifted striker on their hands.

Can the Hammers go all the way in the FA Cup?
