Despite the Hammers struggling to create much at Anfield, the good news is that we are still in the FA Cup and Liverpool will not fancy a trip to the Boleyn Ground, especially after the last encounter.
There were some strong performances in this one as the Hammers kept out a relatively inexperienced Liverpool team. There were a number of contentious decisions that could have gone West Ham’s way on another day but a draw was a fair result.
