Having been at Upton Park on Saturday for the game, there are both positives and negatives to take from the 1-1 draw against the Toffees.
In my view, some of the 5 things I will discuss were perhaps quite predictable, yet others were surprising or certainly less predictable.
Overall, given the previous loss against Watford and West Ham’s poor record against Everton in recent years, a draw is not a bad result. The things we have learnt from the Everton game are certainly useful, and hopefully Bilic will have noticed some areas for improvement.
