After West Ham’s historic victory at the Etihad the Hammers face a very different challenge in Alex Neil’s Norwich City. The Canaries have started the season in solid fashion so far and look more assured in the top flight this time round, compared to their relegation season in 2013/14.
Fans will be expecting West Ham to come away with the three points but there was a similar air of expectancy against the likes of Leicester City and Bournemouth. West Ham should not underestimate the opposition but they should also be very confident in their own abilities, their last home performance against Newcastle United was superb.
A win would cement West Ham’s position in the top four and if results go Bilic’s way, the Hammers could be sitting top of the table by the end of the week. Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves though.
