After what seemed like an eternity, club football is finally back this weekend and West Ham fans everywhere can start to get excited again.
Although our game against Newcastle is on the Monday, there are a lot of talking points to address already. Slaven Bilic will be desperate to get his first league win at the Boleyn Ground after disappointing defeats to Leicester City and Bournemouth. In order to get that first win, Bilic will be keen to try out some of the deadline day signings to see what they can bring to the table.
Last season, West Ham won this fixture 1-0 thanks to Aaron Cresswell’s first goal for the club. However, the challenge the Hammers face this time around will be completely different to the one posed last season.
