West Ham vs Bournemouth preview. Who has a point to prove?

Key players

Max-Gradel-600x449

In Bournemouth’s first two games, they performed nicely as a unit and looked to embrace the attractive footballing style that brought them so much success last season in the Championship. Although they are yet to score in the Premier League, they are more than capable of getting goals and were unlucky to have a goal disallowed at Anfield on Monday.

One Bournemouth player that will be familiar to a number of Hammers fans is winger Max Gradel. Under Allardyce, Gradel was all set to sign for the Irons in a last minute deal in January 2014 but the transfer eventually fell through. Since then, Gradel has performed superbly in Ligue 1 and will be a real danger to West Ham if he starts this afternoon. The winger has pace, trickery and is more than capable of scoring goals from midfield. After the problems Jamie Vardy ensued against the Hammers last weekend, Bilic will be looking to eliminate a similar threat in Gradel.

Diafra Sakho

Diafra Sakho has had a relatively slow start to the season but this is largely due to the fact that he has looked isolated up top so far. If he is given the right service, there is no doubt that Sakho will get off the mark. Payet is a very creative influence at the tip of the diamond and as soon as he forms a partnership with the Senegalese international the goals should follow. With Zarate out injured for the next couple of games, further emphasis will be placed on Sakho to see if he can deliver his first Premier League goals of the season.

We never learn! We must loose Nolan, he is not Premier league standard! Needs to leave the club, as his continued presence in the first team is a liability. We need four more players, Moussa Sow, Victor Moses, Alex Song and a versatile right back. If this is not sorted soon our dream season could tern into a nightmare.
