The one thing West Ham fans want to read about this week is the brand new striker signing we’ve all been waiting for.

Unfortunately, things still appear to be in the development stage as the club are now actively pursuing options abroad in order to find players that are better value for money.

It seems like ages ago when when fans were contemplating a Sakho-Hernandez, Sakho-Austin, Sakho-anyone partnership and it looks as if the wait for a striker will continue.

The lack of news up front is not great but there’s still a lot going on at the club, this is West Ham after all…
