Jack Sullivan quickly dismissed reports of Diafra Sakho’s link to Manchester United.

The Red Devils are set to sell Dutch forward Robin van Persie to Turkish side Fernabache this summer and there are reports that Van Gaal could turn his attention to West Ham’s front man Diafra Sakho.

Sakho impressed last season in his debut campaign for the Hammers, scoring an impressive 12 goals in 26 appearances despite various injury problems in the latter half of the season. He will understandably become a major part of Slaven Bilic’s plans this season and has already started well after scoring two goals against Lusitans in the first leg of the Europa League qualifier earlier this month.

The club are determined to keep hold of their man and this was confirmed by the co-chairman’s son who took to twitter to dismiss the rumours. Jack Sullivan stated that Sakho was not available at any price and that the club had not received any bids for their star striker.

This will obviously be great news for West Ham fans as losing Sakho would be a big blow for the club.
