Is this the plan for West Ham in the summer transfer window?

Reece OxfordCould West Ham be a one-season wonder? I really hope not, hopefully we will hang on to all of our key players. I think that this summer we should spend all our money on trying to secure Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song on permanent deals. I hope that Mauro Zarate can prove his worth at QPR and bring some fresh creativity to the side as that is what we lack, he obviously has the quality but we need Allardyce to have some faith in him, after that fantastic volley against Crystal Palace, I was certain that Zarate can be a good player for West Ham. After we let Zarate go to QPR on loan; Stewart Downing is our only creative midfielder.

In the summer, there are a lot of players West Ham should try to offload some of our players who are surplus to requirements, like Matt Jarvis and Guy Demel, they are just burdens on our wage budget and they have no future at the club. Offloading deadweight like these players should help us to push on for bigger and better things in the league and cups. There are lots of young players, too, like Reece Oxford and Lewis Page. There is no benefit for them to stay at the club; they might aswell drop down to lower divisions like the Championship and League One on loan, there they can get regular first-team football and good experience that West Ham can’t offer right now. As long as we can recall them if there are injuries or we sell some players, this will benefit them.

This is definitely West Ham’s best season in some time, but there is always room for improvement, if the owners want more, they need to give Allardyce more money to strengthen the team. We also need to invest in an experienced centre back who will be a constant in West Ham’s back line. There were a few names flying around on Deadline Day, whether they were rumours or not remains to be seen. Younes Kaboul was one that was mentioned a lot, he would be a good addition to the squad, but he is highly unreliable due to his injury record. It is a shame as he is a very good player. I would love to see him at West Ham but I don’t think Sullivan and Gold would want to invest money in such an injury prone centre back.

You must be joking about Matt Jarvis! He’s worth two Valencia’s who goes down easier than Klinsman. What a joke comment. I’d like to see Valencia in the Championship where he belongs. He can’t stand up for more than 10 minutes.

I didn’t see Nolan’s name in the deadwood comment jack ? Why that then I wonder, definitely don’t agree with Jarvis being deadwood I still think he’s got a lot more to offer and definitely quicker then Nolan. COYI !!!.

Javis can still do a job for us as a good squad player . We need to get two good centre backs , we have been lucky to not get any long term injuries to Collins Reid and Tomkins.

How can u say Jarvis and demel should be sold? When players like joey obrien and Kevin Nolan cost us 100k a week in wages. Demel is a good back up player to jenkinson, Jarvis when he plays always puts in 100% and runs at defenders, and the Valencia remark? Lool when him and diafra are up top they can cause any defence problems, you obviously don’t have a clue about football u mug, next thing you’ll write is that Carroll should start every game and you are glad we signed him over bony!!
