What should West Ham’s aims be for 2015?

I think most would agree that overall 2014 has been a highly successful year for West Ham United. It has been a year in which the club firstly dragged themselves from a perilous position in the relegation zone at the start of January towards a relatively comfortable 13th place finish by May of the 2013/14 campaign, before embarking on a terrific opening 17 matches of the new season, which currently sees them sitting in 4th position with only two games to go until 2015. I don’t think anyone would have believed this would have been remotely possible this time a year ago.

2014 wasn’t without its blips of course; there were the fallouts from humiliating cup exits to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest to try and deal with, as well our fan protests about the side’s style of play that bordered upon open mutiny at times. But with the squad highly evolved in both depth and quality by the year’s end, there is much to look forward to for the long suffering Hammers support.
