John Obi Mikel
The long serving Chelsea midfielder hasn’t been a first choice for the Blues this season, with Nemanja Matic occupying their holding midfield berth so effectively. Jose Mourinho may therefore be willing to dispense with Mikel’s services next summer, making him a potential transfer option for West Ham.
The Nigerian international would certainly add a wealth of experience to the West Ham squad, having played with and against some of the top players in world football during his long Chelsea career. Whilst the 27-year-old doesn’t possess the quality that Song does on the ball, I still believe Mikel would be a pretty decent signing for the club.
