As yet another weekend comes to a close with three points comfortably in the bag for West Ham United, I find myself looking at the league table in awe. At the time of writing, West Ham are eight games into the season and sitting in fourth in the league—a position which is void of fluke, and perfectly deserved. I’m still pinching myself at regular intervals.
This weekend West Ham traveled to Turf Moor to gain a precious three points from a victory over Premier League newcomers (and strugglers) Burnley. It wasn’t the easiest of games, and whilst the first-half wasn’t exactly dominated by the Hammers, a convincing second-half performance means I need to make sure my passport is in date for next season, cause I will probably need it to go to all the European games.
