Sir Alex FergusonAt a time when the world is questioning if revolution truly is possible, at a time when a slightly bitter Sir Alex Ferguson (after all twice he saw potential title winning campaigns collapse at the Boleyn) is questioning just what is ‘the West Ham way’ both questions were answered emphatically in West Ham United’s glorious 2-1 win over Manchester City.

Yes revolution is possible; just look at the way West Ham have changed/evolved from last season’s one dimensional play to this stylish, swaggering side oozing hubris, which at this moment in time is sweeping aside all comers like a prize fighter in his prime. And as for the thorny issue of the West Ham way; well I hope Sir Alex was watching the events at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday afternoon, because it would’ve educated him on the subject. The West Ham way is not just about playing stylish attacking football; it’s also about commitment, passion, endeavour and spirit; all of these characteristics were on show against the reigning champions of English football.

I am running out of superlatives to describe this West Ham team; we’ve now won three on the spin, have a two point cushion in fourth, are playing great football and just beat one of the most expensively assembled teams in the history of professional sport! We are now beating the teams you’d expect us to beat (Crystal Palace, QPR, Burnley) and now last season’s top two have both been dispatched from  the Boleyn with nothing to show for their efforts…it really does make you wander what this side is capable of in league and cup this season.

We now have a run of fixtures with the exception of Everton away that the Irons can be very confident of getting maximum points from. In fact until we play Chelsea at the Bridge on Boxing Day there is nothing (on paper) to worry Big Sam’s boys and this run of fixtures will be a great test of this much heralded new look squad. And if we’re still within a few points of the top 4 by the time we travel to the King’s Road then why not dare to dream.

Friends, fans of rival clubs, the established top 6/7 teams of this country are telling us to enjoy this run of form because ‘it won’t last’ well in my humble opinion we’ve got the quality and the firepower to make this last a little while yet.

Bitter has-been Ferguson was mocking the “West Ham way” to support his old mate BFS. The pair of them are as thick as thieves going back years. BFS fawned over Ferguson like a love sick puppy and its the sad old Scots way of paying him back by backing up the Allardyce claims that the West Ham way was a losing way.

Ferguson…you are yesterdays news you bitter old ****. Just do one and leave West Ham to those who know and love the club and fully UNDERSTAND what the West Ham way is. If you dont know, then you aint a Hammer !!!!!
