3) Regrettably, sell Matt Jarvis:
It’s a shame, because I was such a great fan of the winger during his time at Wolves. Sadly though, since his move to East London the Englishman has failed to live up to expectations and quite honestly, has simply failed to ‘kick start’ his Hammers career. Jarvis has undoubtedly shown his potential since moving to Upton Park, but only in small doses – now into his third campaign in the claret and blue, he really has failed to establish himself as a first-team regular week in, week out. Furthermore, with the side playing the way they are at the moment, I also struggle to find a place for him in the side and sadly feel he may have almost gone ‘stale’ at West Ham, and would also benefit from a move away. By no means do I think Jarvis is a poor player – his pace at times, has troubled Premier League defenders of the highest calibre and I am sure he will do a superb job for another side.
will agree with the Reid situation, could be crucial. If we can’t keep him, we need several central defenders of very good quality to cover, same with wing backs!
I don’t think Jarvis has performed due to the lack of Carroll and only really had the the opportunity to cross to the goal machine Carlton cole 😉 and maiga.
If we are stuck with a hopefully fit Andy Carroll until 2019 (I cannot see anyone else matching his wages) surely having Jarvis would help. What a plan B that would be if we were getting dominated in the centre or bringing ac on to close out a game, with the possibility of pinching a goal from a glorious Collins hoof 😉
Reid can do one as far as I am concerned, I just hope we have scouted some quality. We really need two centre backs and a possible replacement for jenkinson.
Reid can go. Team spirit above individuals all day long. We have built up a great team spirit and attitude and it only takes one sulky bad apple to start the rot. If fourth place doesn’t convince him this is where his future lies then see ya son !!
