Carl JenkinsonCarl Jenkinson:

A loan to buy deal would be ideal for the Hammers here. With Guy Demel the only real cover right back reinforcements are badly needed. Jenkinson is young but already has 37 games for the Gunners under his belt. With Hull City having bid a reported £3million for the defender the West Ham board would want to move fast to secure a deal for the talented defender.

Marcos Lopez:

Remember this guy? 18-years-old and played for Man City in the 3-0 victory over West Ham, in the second leg of the Capital One Cup. He really surprised me and, whilst City won’t sell him, I could see him being a very strong player to have as an option at West Ham. With pace to burn, an amazing touch and a finish to match I think he could possibly be our Gerard Deulofeu this season. However, it is unlikely that Sam Allardyce would be interested in this exciting, young, pacey winger, for those reasons exactly!

Jack Rodwell:

Another Man City player but this one has a bit of substance. It seems Rodwell was attracted by the glitz and glamour of Man City when he joined in 2012, only to fall by the wayside and never seemed to reach his potential. However, he was brought into the squad at City for a reason, and it’s the potential he showed at Everton that could entice West Ham to bring him to East London. While we are spoiled for choice in the centre of midfield if the option of loaning this man comes about, I would be disappointed if the board didn’t act.

Kolo Toure:

Didn’t see this one coming did ya? Putting my head on the chopping board here and saying that Kolo would be a decent loan signing for The Hammers. With bags of experience and still a lot of talent, I think that he would be good, solid cover for Winston Reid or James Tomkins. He looked shaky for Liverpool last season, but I think with some good training and match time he would fit in at West Ham in the coming season. And it has to be said that he would be better than Roger Johnson!

Yaya Sanogo:

Romelu Lukaku is the obvious man I have left out of this list but he has said openly he would not like to join West Ham. So I have picked a similar sort of player in Sanogo. He isn’t as physically strong or powerful as Lukaku, but then again who is? He fits the ‘over 6 foot’ rule and has had some first team experience for the Gunners this season. With Andy Carroll out for four months now it is pivotal that a striker is brought in, and I think Sanogo fits the bill.

Jenkinson is assured. Toure to me isn’t that good and neither is Sanogo. Rodwell is a decent player but we have many midfield players. Not sure about Lopez but we now have Valencia who can play either as a front man or winger

I think we shoud play teddy sheringham up front with Nolan… And leave Valencia in the reserves… Then get Tim Breaker out of retirement job done… Sorted
