Despite only just returning from a 12-week injury layoff, Sports Direct News is reporting that West Ham’s Winston Reid is attracting interest from Arsenal.
Reid, who has established himself as one of the Hammers’ most important players, has been linked with Arsene Wenger’s side in the past and reports suggest the Gunners will offer £8million in the summer.
Sports Direct News suggests that West Ham will only consider bids north of £11million for the New Zealand international.
If we do sell Reid, I know I will be straight on the phone to the Good Samaritans…
We can’t sell Reid or any of our other big players we need to stop being a selling club and keep our better players a push for higher league positions and decent cup runs

I’m not sure how much Cahill cost chelski but I consider Reid is worth much more. I don’t want Reid to go and it wouldn’t be the first time that Wenger has come sniffing for a cheap bargain and unsettled one of our players. They should be told to foxtrot…..

Do NOT sell Winston Reid, he is a 20m + player and worth more than that to West Ham as he will help keep us in the prem. I agree with previous comments, sell Morrison, give Reid an improve long term contract. Do not sell to a club who in 5 years time we will be competing with. This one’s a no-brainer, the reward for just staying in the premier league is far greater than a paltry £8m for one of our best players – from a business perspective (and remember, it is a business nowadays) it’s crazy to sell your prize assets for a few quid. Arsenal, do one – if it’s a bargain you want from someone who desperately needs the money then sod off to cash converters not WHU. However, from the players point of view – would Reidy want to be at a club that never challenges for the title or never wins any silverware……….or stay at West Ham !!!!!!
