Wayne HennesseyWest Ham are reportedly interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers’ goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

This rumour may surprise a few Hammers with Adrian seen as more than capable of replacing 38-year-old Jussi Jaaskelainen when he retires.

Wales international Hennessey refused to play for Wolves against Gillingham, last Friday and this is believed to be due to the 26-year-old’s desire to leave Molineux.

Should the Hammers make a move for Hennessey, they will almost certainly face competition from fellow Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace, who have already had a bid rejected.

Average goalkeeper. Not better than Henderson actually, so why bother ? Adrian has shown signs of top quality, and there is the swiss youngster coming behind. No need to spend money where it is not required, wouldn’t you say ?
