Super League: Olympiacos F.C. v Panathinaikos FCThe last day of the window is promising to be an exciting one for West Ham.

Reports have emerged that West Ham are trying an ‘Everton’ and looking to hijack Fulham’s move for Olympiacos goal machine Kostas Mitroglou.

Rene Meulensteen had all but completed a £12.4million deal for Mitroglou but Big Sam is hoping to get one over on the Hammers’ relegation rivals.

The Mirror are reporting that the funds for any deal involving the Greece international will be partially raised from selling midfielder Mohamed Diame.

Lets hope, like my dreams, these potential deals don’t fade and die.

What’s your reaction to this news? Diame leaving, a good or bad thing?

No bad thing. Very disappointing and questionable commitment to West Ham judging by so many performances./

Totally agree he’s performance against Chelsea was disgraceful by his looks during the game and other games he has played u can see he’s not putting all his effort , so bfs if u read this selling him now get what u can out of him

come on- he has been asked to play here there and everywhere we can hardly comment on one or two games- he got injured chasing down a no hope ball!!!
He is playing in a hoof and chase tactic game- focussed on defender when he plays best with freedom to push on then break up attacks- quality player for me and sad if he goes when Collinson, Taylor, Nolan, Jarvis all contribute less on a regular basis.

Raise money getting rid of above plus Maiga and Rat – buy mid 20’s quality we must have some longer term planning. Buying strikers is the focus- if we score we get points simple as

I agree with most of that Simon , BFS has been playing most of the back 4 and the mid 5 out of their positions , diame , collision and Taylor have not been happy when played in their correct positions they have had good games, it’s all down to BFS tactics just watch the new players go down hill too when asked to do the same , having said that you would think that the money these boys get paid they could play in any position wouldn’t you ?.
