Wayne HennesseySam Allardyce has rubbished reports that West Ham are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

In recent weeks, Allardyce has rotated Jussi Jaaskelainen and Adrian and Hennessey’s future at Wolves has been subject to heavy speculation after he refused to play for the club against Gillingham – he has since apologised for this.

Big Sam has admitted that there will (hopefully) be two new faces arriving at Upton Park in the comings days but denied that the 26-year-old is one of them.

Allardyce said: “No, we don’t need a goalkeeper, we’re very comfortable in that area with the four goalkeepers we have here so we’re OK in that department.”

Adrian was definitely at fault for the first two goals last night. A half decent keeper would’ve been off his line miles quicker than him. He did make some good saves but that’s his job after all.
The whole teem were like a bunch of frightened kids & needs to be improved in every department if we are to survive in this league. Otherwise it’s relegation & back to square one.
Oh, just one more thing, please don’t give CC another contract. If we can cash in on him now then do it. He might just be good enough for a league one or two side.
