It appears the Italian league Serie A will play a big part in West Ham’s search for a striker.
The Hammers were in the running for Inter Milan striker Ishak Belfodil but that deal has since hit a snag. However, Sky Italia are reporting that we’ve reached a deal with Roma for striker Marco Borriello.
The Italian has only started six league games for Roma, this season. However, the 31-year-old has a respectable career record of 40 Serie A goals from 92 starts and 31 substitute appearances.
What do you reckon? Is Borriello the man for us?
is this the same sky italia reporter that belfodil and the Juve player are signing for us?
don’t think he knows what he is on about!!!!!
1 goal in just over 2 games can’t b bad but, do Italian strikers do the business when they come to the PL? Only Zola, Di Canio & Carbone only stand out…
We should not sign any foreign player who has no premiership experience , we need players to fit straight in to the style of football that is the premiership , no time to settle into a new country etc , also unless there is a sniff of a permanent move at the end of the loan deal , will the commitment be there , yesterday showed great attitude from the team , but also showed we will need to strengthen a bit all over the place at times , about time we had a bit of luck ,
A bit of a tart lol been passed about alot loan out etc , but not bad with the goals,he was linked with man city in 2010-2011 but joined Roma. , but peter is right do we believe i think not.
