Hammers considering another Serie A raid

Paolo CannavaroPaolo is being linked with West Ham but it isn’t Di Canio. Sky Italia is reporting that West Ham are interested in bringing Napoli defender Paolo Cannavaro to Upton Park.

The Hammers have had major injury problems along their defensive line this season and a move for the 32-year-old would ease their back four worries.
Big Sam has suggested no one will come in unless they sell but when do managers tell the truth ey?!
The story doesn’t suggest whether the reported interest is for a permanent or a loan deal but given the Italian has only made two starts in the Serie A this campaign, you’d imagine he’d be keen on any deal.

He’s a good player in his day.. Must be a reason why he ain’t playing in his first team but we do need a defender and anyone gotta be better than Johnson! I still think we should go for mich Richards for right back plus he can play centre back.

Plays well could be a good stop gap

All these stop gaps do is stop us building a side over a number of seasons, One or two stop gaps may be acceptable but not at rate we sign them, alladyce must be an agents best friend with the turnover he creates ,all he does is fill the club the club with 2nd rate players ,that gold with a little (g) and Sullivan with tiny(g) charge the fans more than average prices.
