HE LIVES! West Ham’s record signing Andy Carroll returned to the Hammers squad yesterday after being sidelined for the last eight months.
Carroll’s return lifted the spirits of the fans, the players, Sam Allardyce, the backroom staff, well, basically, everyone associated with the Hammers.
The former Newcastle United striker was subbed into the game on the 72nd minute and by the end of the 90, our Jesus lookalike had one assist – reckon he will start next game? I’m tempted to bring him into my fantasy team.
Anyway, it appears the big man was happy with his contribution.
