West Ham Target Chelsea Midfielder?

|

Yossi BenayounChelsea winger Yossi Benayoun has been reported to be on the offload list at Stamford Bridge as Roman Abramovich looks for a summer clear-out. The former West Ham player is also reported with a return to Upton Park for yet a third time in his career.

Are you on Facebook? Excellent, so are we http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/ForeverWestHamcom/200938616608282

The Israeli international was loaned to West Ham earlier in the season but was sent back to Stamford Bridge due to an ankle injury of which he felt uncomfortable playing with. The winger left weeks after anti-Semitic chants during West Ham’s game with Tottenham of which he described as ‘hurtful’.

Personally I don’t think Benayoun is needed at the club although I would welcome him back with open arms. He has bags of ability and a fierce strike but his age is a matter of concern with him turning 33 this May.

While West Ham look to strengthen their team following a good Premier League campaign, I feel that our money should be invested somewhere else, in someone much younger, and hopefully much better. We have a few wingers on our books at the moment with the likes of Matt Jarvis, Ricardo Vaz Te and Joe Cole but obviously with our ambition we need much more stability and depth in the squad.

I would like to see us move for a younger player, but with the current footballing market booming with money it is scary to think how much we could pay for an average winger, especially if they’re British.

A move for Tom Ince would be decent, but is highly unlikely due to the club’s relationship with Paul Ince, his father, who is the current manager of Blackpool.

So who? Maybe we’ll settle with Benayoun?

I would like to see Benayoun back at Upton Park but to be honest; he isn’t the best player that we could get. There are good players out there that I would like to see here instead, but I can’t pin one down for sure.

Who would you like to see West Ham sign?

tom ince . why don’t you get of the media bandwagon and watch these players for real. your idea to improve in the prem is to but average championship players. but i suppose if writing your rubbish makes you fill important then carry on that’s fine but let the people who know what there doing worry about the team.

would love to see him back, i dont care how old players are as long as they can play well. joe cole, vaz te and diame are our only creative players, he would be a good player to bring on to change things.

I would love to see Yossi back.He proved he still has it.He was man of the match against Man City and Southampton. We have badly missed his creativity and guile.Having to rely on Matt Taylor in centre midfield ..tells you how badly he’s been missed. It was a huge mistake sending him back to Chelsea. He remains one of the most skillful and intelligent footballers to don the claret and blue this century. He needs to be play in the hole..in place of Nolan.

Yossi back, that’s ambitious, a bit like Taylor in the middle of the park. Probably has 1 good game in 5 if that. 33 years old, that’s about right. Have we not got better players coming through or do we always have to have players who have played for us before or so called Premiership experience. What does that mean.

Love to see him back, excellent player, just what we need. Very good in midfield.

  • Macca says:

Yossi, he has excellent skills, and I was sorry to see him go the first time, he should of never left this great club , as far as am concerned he is a excellent player, westham should not even think about it, just go and buy him now. Macca westham.

Also Wellington paulista, is to good for the reserves, and should of been in the first team along time ago, he is Brazilian, and a proven goal scorer, get him in the first team now. He need his chance and now, come on Sam, what are you doing, get your act together, let’s start playing the same way when we were in championship, we need to start fighting for every game, and to win every match, so let’s get it together, and give it to every team we play, Macca westham.

  • Macca says:

What we need is a team to play in the same way as Barcelona, skills , passion, moving the ball, fighting, goals, and players that give there all for the club, if we get that then we are there. That’s what we need. A westham united f.c but with the Barcelona way of playing football, Macca westham.

  • Macca says:

If I was big Sam, I would buy jossi from Chelsea, on a permanent deal, he is a excellent player, just what westham need, we need players like him in the team, go and get him Sam, you won’t regret it. Macca westham.
