West Ham are set to make a move for Bolton Wanderers’ left back Marcos Alonso, the Daily Mirror are reporting.

Sam Allardyce sent scouts to watch the Spaniard in Bolton’s win over Burnley in the Npower Championship on Saturday.
Alonso’s contract with the Lancashire club is up at the end of the season, so despite a signing on fee the former Real Madrid youngster will be a relatively cheap alternative. However the Mirror also reports that Serie A side Fiorentina are interested in the defender and a contract offer has been made.
