West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has spoken out definitively on the Mohamed Diamé saga that continues to dominate the headlines.

David Gold spoke exclusively to www.sportsdirectnews.com and declared: “There has not been any bid or inquiry from anywhere for the lad.
Diamé has today again been linked with Arsenal, along with Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham but DG has put a stop to all this ‘paper talk’: “I keep reading the same stuff in the papers but the truth is there has been no bid or indeed inquiry.”
Talks are ongoing with Diame for a bumper £50,000-a-week a week contract and Gold continued: “We love Mo and will continue to do everything in our power to keep him here. He has said himself he doesn’t want to leave but we know how volatile the last few days of the January window can be.”
