Loan move suggestions for Big Sam

|

As we near the start of the season and the end of the August month, the transfer window slams shut. We must as a club looks to strengthen permanently, although if we cannot secure our targets we could look for players at clubs that are not going to get the first team football that they want and need, so we could look to give them a home for the next few months.

A loanee we could try and bring in could be, Ryan Bertrand. The Chelsea youngster is an up and coming English talent that plays at left back. With Ashley Cole in front of him in the Chelsea line up, he could be a possible loan target. Bertrand is in the current England squad that will play Italy on Wednesday night in Berne, and if for his future he needs first team football to keep him in that England squad, a cross-city move for the Olympian could be an option.

We could also try and attempt to bring a new Manchester United signing into West Ham, Nick Powell. Powell lit the 4th tier of English football up with Crewe Alexandra. His fine form that he showed and the fact that he did all this at the tender age of 17 proved that he might be one of the many great talents to come out of the Crewe Alexandra academy. Past graduates include West Ham’s FA Cup Final goalscorer, Dean Ashton. Nick Powell was the star of Crewe’s Play-Off charge that saw them promoted to the 3rd tier, and Manchester United might see that if they can keep his form and talent playing regularly in the Premier League, a loan spell to a club such as ours could be highly beneficial.

Could we possibly tempt Henri Lansbury back to Upton Park? Henri was on loan for the season from Arsenal last year and he showed us that he was a hardworking midfielder to play in the middle and keep the tempo up. He was magnificent when we played Portsmouth at home, and equally as brilliant when he played a vital role in the home tie against Birmingham to gain a point from defeat. If we could get Henri back, he would definitely have more of a role that he has got at Arsenal and he could be a boost to the team.

Another midfielder we could possibly sign is Chelsea’s Josh McEachran. Josh is becoming a frustrated graduate of the academy, finding himself pushed further down the pecking order at the Stamford Bridge outfit. Though with limited chances means that he could be a player that is looking to leave. He may only want to leave on loan so as well as Ryan Bertrand, he may benefit from a cross-city spell.

John Guidetti is my last recommendation of a loan player to sign. I only need to give you one stat to show you why. Last year for Feyenoord he scored 20 times in 23 games. The Swedish international, is currently at Manchester City and Roberto Mancini would like to see him get some experience in the Premier League, so a loan spell could be exactly what City what for him and he may need it. West Ham, for me should definitely try and sign him. Only if we let Sam Baldock or Nicky Maynard leave.

bassong-fills a hole at cb and is a quality defender.another would be micah richards,i no he will miss the start of the season but come the end of september he could be worth a deal

Richards is at City, so he will be on crazy wages we could never afford. Plus he gets in the team

Bertrand will get plenty of games at Chelsea next season. They are in so many competitions there is no way they can cope with just Ashley Cole at LB.

the only name there you have mentioned there that could be interesting is guidetti, he scored many goals in edervise i think so it wont really harm us to give it a try but he may be on high wages due to being at city.

I wonder where ur logic is in this article!! I would agree if we were in the championship still, but looking how we played last year and the fact Big Sam didn’t play any of our OWN up and coming youth players, for example Hall, Montano and even Ravel..what makes you think he is going to bring in young players on loan while being in the PREM. We have a massive amount of centre mid players now and could only perhaps see the striker that you mentioned as being an option. But the fact we will only be playing with one up front on his own with another two stirkers like Vaz Te and Maiga playing on the wings I dont think another striker is needed…COYI
