FIVE Olympians West Ham should look to sign

|

We are nearing the end of the Olympic games in London, with the curtain calling on Sunday. On Saturday, the Football Tournament ends with the final taking place at Wembley. I’ve had a look at 5 Olympians that we could realistically sign and that would fit in well.

5) Kensuke Nagai

The unheard of Japanese striker has been phenomenal in the Olympic Tournament, having scored twice for Japan in the Group Stages and scoring the only goal in the win for the Japanese against Spain. He is young, quick and has great balance on the ball, I remember watching the game against Spain and he skipped past the centre back, Alvaro Dominguez. Nagai scored 8 times in 17 appearances in the J-League for Grampus. The 23 year old could be a pacey and dangerous threat to Premier League defenders.

4) Hector Herrera

Herrera has been quite impressive for a Mexico side that will play Japan in the Semi-Final tomorrow night. You may be worrying, about singing a promising Mexican who impressed at a tournament, after Barrera career at West Ham, though after watching this talented midfielder play for Mexico against Senegal, he looked very fluid on the ball, confident and having won an award for being the most outstanding player of the Tournament in the Toulon Tournament, he could be a very good, solid target.

3) Gaston Ramirez

Gaston, he may just be exactly what we’ve been looking for. He is a tall, quick and strong winger. The 21-year-old Uruguayan is currently playing in Italy for Bologna, and has been impressing for them. He played for Uruguay against Team GB in Cardiff and, although he didn’t have the chance to impress, he has a good record for Bologna, with 8 goals in 32 appearances. Though it will be his quality of ball into the box that we desperately need. He will be expensive, certainly though he may be what we desperately need and may need to move soon, before a much bigger club try and lure him in.

2) Neil Taylor

Taylor would be a player that would be tough to lure to West Ham, especially as he has performed so well for Swansea last year, but if we could get him to join us, it would be a very decent buy. He is 23, and he is a full back. He adapted well to the Premier League last year and he certainly looked like he could handle the Premier League quality. Not many defences kept clean sheets against Manchester City and he was part of one, so there is not a doubt he can handle quality wingers.

1)Moussa Konate

We have been heavily linked with the 19 year old Senegalese striker, and it isn’t hard at all to see why. He has been scoring goals for fun, including the equalizer against GB at Old Trafford in our opener. What has most impressed me about the striker is the why that he has taken his goals and has finished them. He is clearly very talented, and has bags of quality and pace. It would be great to see this prodigy grow and hopefully we could mould him into being a top quality player at West Ham.

I think if we get another 2 players including a striker who can score 20 goals a season we should stay up konate could be a sesation as could the mexican guy. I never saw the japanese player but they tend to have a winning mentality and strive for excellence in everything they do. I reckon 1 or 2 of the S. Korea players are worth taking a punt on. UP next week COYI

IM SO GLAD YOUR NOT A SCOUT FOR WEST HAM!!

  • I agree with Roy, a couple of signings from the South Korean outfit could potenttially be a great bit of buisness and that young striker mentioned for them was epic. Unbelieavable balance and his work ethic was high very Ji Sung Park esc but more physical. Can’t see these signings happening though apart from Konate, as Jarvis will sign aswell and (hopefully) Dempsey. Although Ramirez if up for the move and a fee could be agreed…Go for him!

Re-sent 11.25am as the original “miraculously” disappeared” !

This site is CENSORED, my opinion & comments from yesterday have been removed and there was nothing rude or offensive!

This site is nothing more than an advertising ploy, full of pointless “5 of’s”. The only good thing is it gives people a chance to write publicly.

It’s now 10.40am Sunday morning, let’s see how long this one lasts.
