Paul Ince believes West Ham were lucky to take the points against Huddersfield on Monday night.
The Hammers fought hard to score two second half goals in a 2-0 win, but the former Liverpool midfielder has taken to social media and claims the East Londoners ‘got lucky’.
The win has added security to Slaven Bilic’s job, for the time being. However, Paul Ince believes Andy Carroll is only lying to himself when he says West Ham are ‘a great team’.
The key was West Ham got lucky let's have that right. The team is a 'great team' says Carrol – who is he kidding #WestHam

Ince’s son, Tom signed for the Terriers this summer and was a starter at the London Stadium. The 25 year-old did muster an effort that rattled off the crossbar, but in truth the former Derby County star was largely ineffective.
West Ham had 19 attempts on goal compared to Huddersfield’s 10, but had fewer shots on target, while David Wagner’s side also dominated possession.
West Ham fans have fired back at Ince’s Tweet after he questioned whether they deserved the win.
Let it go Paul, let it go…
