This is the dream…

West Ham now know they must win their last two games to leave them with chance of picking up second place following Southampton’s 2-1 defeat at Middlesbrough last night.

The fastest growing Hammers website is now on Facebook, click the link to be entered into our up and coming competitions http://www.facebook.com/pages/ForeverWestHamcom/200938616608282

Ok, let’s be honest we knew we had to win our last three games anyway but following our slip up on Tuesday night against Bristol City even the most ardent of fans accepted if we were to go up it

would be via Wembley. But following Saints slip up we believe again, and the Saints fans I know are worried. If West Ham win tomorrow night, and we all know that’s a big If, the final automatic place will be decided on the final day where the Hammers face Hull, while Saints face already relegated Coventry at St Mary’s.

What an atmosphere it could be come Saturday if we could take it to the final day, radios in tow and mobiles being constantly refreshed, a proper end to the season could awaits. Although many

fans are thinking, Saints should batter a deflated Coventry side, and you’re probably right. But this is football and nothing is straight forward.

Under heavy pressure in front of an expectant home crowd Southampton may well buckle and fail to win and the unlikeliest of outcomes a few weeks ago could become reality, West Ham go up automatically. Under pressure from an expectant crowd that sounds familiar, West Ham versus Bristol City at home, against Watford at home, against Doncaster at home, it could happen.

Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself here, as we all know this is West Ham United, they give you hope then cruelly take it away from you to leave you wondering what’s going on. It only happened last week, hammering play off chasing Brighton 6-0 then going up to Bristol City a side fighting for their lives and scraping a point. All in a week’s work for West Ham fans, the frustrating thing for all Hammers fans is, knowing what the team is capable of, and knowing what that result would have meant if we had win. But alas it wasn’t to be.

But picture the scene West Ham are leading 3-0 against Hull, and with the scores currently locked at 0-0 at Saint Marys the Hammers are praying for the final whistle. When an almighty cheer comes from the back of the stand, this noise reverberates around the ground as the news of a late late Coventry winner filters through. West Ham fans bounce up and down in delight and chant “we are going up”.

It’s a nice dream isn’t it?

Ever dreamt about getting paid for reading about West Ham? Well now you can make dreams a reality http://bit.ly/ffc-foreverwestham

Now West Ham players and backroom staff it’s up to you to make it a reality, it’s now or never. Oh and with a little help from our Midlands friends Coventry. West Ham fans it’s time to believe and

pray. We can do this!

Come on you Irons!

Come on you Sky Blues! You will have 34,000 East Enders behind you come Saturday lunchtime!

Picture this scene, West Ham destroy the stiffs that have been put in front of them at home all season…..like they should have…..and we wouldn’t be worrying about these last two games, now would we?

Hope springs eternal. With Reading dropping points to Palace all we had to do was beat M’boro and we were promoted and in a position to win League as Reading will lose to B

Little ahead of yourself aren’t you ? Smal matter of beating Leicester first.
Good luck to you though. I still have tobelieve that we will beat Coventry. You will go up via Play Offs, as the top three teams should always go up in my view.
