West Ham completed the signing of Ravel Morrison last night, in a move that could earn Manchester United up to £1 million.
It looks like Big Sam’s decided to take a punt on the youngster, who has previously attacked his mum and branded Si r Alex Ferguson a ‘liar’ in the media.
Sounds like a pretty great guy, right? I think Allardyce could actually be the right manager to get him settled and to help to develop his career.

Allardyce has said: ‘Ravel is a talented lad and if he really wants to be a player then we will help him as much as we can along the way.
‘Perhaps a change of environment will be beneficial to him and help him make that step up to first team football quicker than perhaps would have been the case at Manchester United. There is no doubt he has exceptional talent.’
I’d like to know what terms we’ve agreed with Morrison, as his demands were too unrealistic for his deal to be extended at United.

Let’s not get too excited. Before the signings we already had at least five forwards and we still scored three times more goals from penalties than open play in the last three games.
The sad truth is that Allardyce understands “grinding out a 1-0”, but beyond that he hasn’t got a clue.
Best we can hope for is making some money out of selling these signings at the end of the season, when we fail to make the play-offs.

Ive seen this kid play over a dozen times and he truly is an exceptional talent. We all know about his troubles but he’s not an English ballotelli at all. He’s more of a thug and a wannabe gangster than ballotelli but hopefully him getting out of Manchester and away from his so called mates may be the best all round for him. I really do wish him well and I hope he does make it and becomes the star I’ve been thinking he would be!
I’m a man utd fan and this kid will amaze you all!!! He was good enough for the step up and closer to the first team set up than he thought. Just misguided.
Hope big Sam can bring him on as a Person….. can’t help but think that if he does manage to sort his head out and mature, a couple of years down the line or at the end of this contract he will heading back up north to join us.
I’m sure he’l bring u success this season even though I was surprised someone so technically gifted has signed for an Alladyce side.
