Bilic was integral to the nurturing of world class Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric’s young career – but the 31-year-old is unlikely to depart the Bernabeu anytime soon.
There exists a wealth of talent in Croatia’s national pool and Slaven Bilic could do worse than to consider a few of his countrymen for roles at West Ham.
A number of Croat talents are currently plying their trade in some of Europe’s biggest clubs and many of them would improve a West Ham side looking to solidify a top eight reputation.
