Roma have entered the race to sign Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea, according to Il Tempo. The Italian newspaper say that the Spaniard is top of the Italian club’s wishlist, and are prepared to use player’s such as Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger as bargaining chips in the deal.

Chelsea are believed to be interested in the pair and the Serie A side are said to be willing to give the Blues first option if they decide to sell them in the future.

Roma are reportedly weighing up a loan move for Fabregas but are hesitant about the player’s sizeable wages. AC Milan could rival them for the 29 year old’s signature while West Ham have been linked with them player over the past couple of months.

The Hammers were believed to be encouraged by the fact that Fabregas does not want to leave London, and the fact that Antonio Conte once again opted to leave the Spaniard on the bench for the match against West Brom at the weekend, means the door still looks to be open for a January move.
