Nice are interested in signing Sofiane Feghouli from West Ham, according to Footmercato. The French website says that the French league leaders are hoping to take the Algerian international to the south of France when the transfer window opens next month.

Roma have also been looking at the 26 year old in recent months, reports Footmercato, but any move for the midfielder could be complicated by the fact that Feghouli will be away at the African Cup of Nations for parts of January and February.

With the player concentrating on his country rather than his club, he may decide to put questions about his future on hold until the end of the season and remain with the Hammers.

Feghouli hasn’t had the best of times since arriving from Valencia on a free transfer in the summer. Despite being involved in eleven matches this season, he has started only four matches, none of which were in the Premier League, and Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has omitted him from the matchday squad in two of the last three matches.
