According to The Telegraph, Slaven Bilic has decided to conduct some of his training sessions as the London Stadium in a bid to improve the club’s home form and help make the players feel more comfortable in their new surroundings.

The east London side moved to the new stadium at the start of this season after leaving the Boleyn Ground but managed to earn just four points from their opening four games there.

Since, Slaven Bilic decided to take training sessions on the pitch and it seems to have paid off slightly with the club winning at home against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon thanks to a late Winston Reid goal.

The Croatian explained why the decision was made in saying: “[We do it] for the players to get used to that specific pitch, to the size, to certain areas where they play. You score some good goals from a specific spot in training and when you are in a match, you think, ‘I scored yesterday from here’.”

The Hammers next home game in the Premier League is against Stoke on 5th November after they travel to Everton this weekend as they look to build on two successive victories over the Black Cats and Crystal Palace before that.
