West Ham host Chelsea on Wednesday night in the EFL Cup looking for a place in the quarter finals in the competition.
After a slow start to proceedings this season the Hammers have bounced back somewhat with two decent back-to-back wins against Crystal Palace and Sunderland respectively with both highlighting some of the strengths they have in their squad.
Both games showed the sheer determination the players have to turn this form around with a good performance seeing out the game against Palace with ten men before it was switched to see the side over the line and grab a late winner against the Black Cats.
Both will have pleased Slaven Bilic as his players showed what they can do and he’ll be expecting the same against Chelsea no matter what side he puts out.
