West Ham need a defender, but what targets are the best options?

|

Robbie Brady

The 24 year old Irish international was impressive at Euro 2016 and is definitely good enough to be playing in the Premier League. The Manchester United academy graduate scored 3 goals last season in 36 appearances for the Canaries and did play at left back at some stages throughout the season. Brady has the advantage of being able to play as both a left back and a left winger which is never a bad thing.

Norwich value the former Hull player at approximately £12 million, and some feel that the versatile Irishman would be Slaven Bilic’s first choice but ultimately Norwich’s asking price is too high. Although, if Brady were to come to East London, he would provide quality cover and he would definitely push Aaron Cresswell for a starting position.
