West Ham played their second ever match at the London Stadium this afternoon against a quality Juventus team. The Hammers lost the game 3-2 as Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Simone Zaza all proved that they could offer the Italian giants extra options in attack despite Gonzalo Higuain’s £75 million arrival this summer.
The Hammers had their moments in the game and it was an excellent fixture for the players to get closer to full fitness as the Premier League opener against Chelsea on 15 August draws closer.
