West Ham forward target Wissam Ben Yedder is set to sign for Sevilla in a deal worth around €9 million.

The Ligue 1 attacker was a potential target for the Hammers but reservations over the striker’s physicality has scuppered a move for the 25-year-old, who scored 17 league goals last season.

Carlos Bacca is taking his time in making a decision on his future and it looks as if West Ham are becoming increasingly frustrated as the club eye up alternative targets.

Swansea City forward Andre Ayew was the subject of a West Ham bid earlier this week but it is understood that the Welsh club are looking for a fee of around £20 million if they are going to consider letting their star man depart the club.

The Swans are not in a hurry to sell the forward after Bafetimbi Gomis left the club for Marseille on a season-long loan. A lack of options up top means Francesco Guidolin will want attacking reinforcements before agreeing to sell any more players.

Another potential target for West Ham is Liverpool forward Christian Benteke. The Belgian striker’s future at Anfield is still up in the air and ExWHUemployee stated that the Hammers could make a move for the striker before the end of the summer window.

A striker that is set to join the club is Argentine forward Jonathan Calleri. The club are expected to announce a deal for the promising striker next week. Calleri scored 16 goals in 31 appearances for Sao Paulo last season and is recognised as one of South America’s best striker prospects.
