West Ham United have agreed to sell Enner Valencia to Turkish side Galatasaray after accepting a £12 million bid for the South American striker, Haberler report.

The Hammers have not disguised their desire to sign new strikers this summer, which has led to speculation that the Ecuador international will be allowed to leave the London Stadium and seek first-team football elsewhere.

Despite the fact that West Ham have not yet landed a new attacker to bolster options in the final third, Valencia is being tipped to leave the club.

The versatile forward moved to the London club after excellent performances for Ecuador in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and has shown glimpses of real ability.

However, injuries and a lack of consistent football have blighted Valencia’s chances to make a lasting impression on the West Ham fans.

It is believed that the forward, who started for the Hammers last night in a 2-1 defeat to NK Domzale in the Europa League qualifiers, will now be allowed to discuss personal terms with the Istanbul giants.
